A contractual teacher of cantonment Board Junior High School lodged a complaint in Cantt police station, accusing the school in-charge of molestation. However, Cantt police station in-charge inspector Harish Mehra said that police team who investigated the case on receipt of the report found the charge concocted and false. She had made false allegation against the school in-charge, Mehra said, adding that the report has been sent to senior police officers.
Mehra further said that the complainant can approach the senior police officers if she is not satisfied.
Sources said that investigation revealed that the woman was erratic in attendance and was not about teaching too. Angered with the in-charge scolding her and asking her to be more regular and serious about her duty, she registered the complaint in the police station on Tuesday.
However, local residents had met the cantonment board chief executive engineer and submitted a memorandum to him, demanding action against the in-charge of the school promptly.
