A woman was allegedly molested by a tailor in Gopal Market in Kotwali area. She lodged a complaint in Kotwali police station where she alleged that she was molested by 28-year-old tailor Dilshad, native of Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) when she had gone to his shop to get her blouse stitched on December 22.
The accused had called her to the shop for delivery of stitched blouse, the complaint ran. Taking cognisance of the complaint, a case under section 354 of IPC was registered against the accused in the Kotwali police station.
The team of police officers has been formed to investigate this matter, said the police station in-charge inspector SS Bisht.
