Students open closed college

PNS

Student leaders are known for forcing closure of colleges but on Monday the DBS (PG) College witnessed an anti-climax as the students forcibly opened a closed college and senior students took the role of teachers and conducted the classes. In protest against alleged failure of the district administration and police for failing to take appropriate action against the rowdy students the staff members and Principal had decided to close the college for two days but  on Monday the student leaders forced their entry into the college.

The leader of NSUI and a class III year student Nityanand told The Pioneer that the students of MA and M.Sc took the classes of BA and B.Sc. to teach a lesson to the teachers and the Principal who are bent on vitiating the academic environment of the college. The students later burned the effigy of the Principal and shouted slogans against him. The students are demanding immediate removal of Principal as they allege that his role in giving fake admissions in the college is proved. The Principal O P Kulshreshta has denied any irregularity in the entire process of admissions.
