Dehradun- based student activist group Making A Difference By Being The Difference (MAD) would soon embark on a pan- city survey to find out the specific problems and challenges related to sanitation in different areas of Dehradun. Informing, MAD’s founding president Abhijay Negi said on Saturday that
the idea of the survey is to cover the length and breadth of the city and prepare ward- wise reports about the state of sanitation here. Negi said that the MAD members would hand over a copy of the report to the chief minister, urban development minister and mayor to ensure that some action is taken upon it. Furthermore, MAD would include an eco- friendly Diwali persuasion campaign as a part of its city-wide sanitation survey, Negi added.
