The National Association for Parents and Students Rights (NAPSR) has requested the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) to take cognisance of the reported physical harassment and abuse of a nine year old student in a hostel of the private school located on Sahastradhara Road. In a letter to the SCPCR, the national president of the NAPSR, Arif Khan said that in the shocking incident, a nine year old student, a resident of Noida was abused by the hostel warden.
The police have arrested the accused on the complaint and a case has been registered against him.
Khan said that the school administration cannot claim to remain aloof to the heinous crime which occurred in its hostel. He said that the school administration should also be held accountable for the incident.
Khan said that the parents association wants that an impartial inquiry should be held in the incident and action should be taken against all those responsible.
