Informing, the State Director General of Police MA Ganapathy said on Monday that the district senior police officers have been directed to review the crime status in their jurisdictional limits and to give necessary instructions to their sub-ordinates on how to streamline  policing to make it more effective. He announced the decision of the special campaign after he met the senior police officers.

Ganapathy said that the police station officers and police personnel have been directed to be more serious in their works. The absconders should be promptly arrested, he said, while stressing on the immediate arrests of the criminals who have cash rewards on them for their arrests.
