The State labour Department’s internet portal was inaugurated by the labour, Employment, Dairy Development, Khadi and Gramodyog Minister Harish Chandra Durgapal here on Monday. With the launch of the departmental website, the public will have access to relevant information and varied departmental procedures including registration, licensing and renewal of the same. Payment of registration fee for commercial institutions will also be facilitated through the portal.
On the occasion, the labour minister said that the online labour portal should be publicised widely followed by issuance of notification for making the cyber procedures mandatory from March 1. labour secretary RK Sudhanshu assured the departmental officials and representatives of industry that their doubts and issues will be resolved and that their suggestions will also be incorporated from time to time in the portal. The portal users can also communicate their suggestions and feedback on the portal by dialing the number 737676299.
Speaking on the occasion, the labour commissioner Dr Anand Srivastav said that following the launch of the departmental portal, publicity camps will be organised in industrial areas on utilisation of the portal by industrial institutions, enterprises and commercial bodies.
The labour minister commended the officials concerned for developing the portal. Departmental officials and representatives of industrial organisations were also present on the occasion.
