Taking a stern note of the suspended party workers flaunting the party flags and the party symbols at their residences, offices and also on their cars after the party won the Assembly election, the State BJP leadership has asked them to desist from the practice or else face legal action. Notably, a number of party workers were suspended for indulging in anti-party activities during the time the party was engaged in fierce electioneering against the ruling Congress.
State BJP organising general secretary Naresh Bansal said on Thursday that such workers, suspended for six years, have no right to use the party flag, the sticker and the like at their residences, offices and on their cars. “If they continue with such practice even after this warning the party would be forced to take legal action against them,” he said.
He further said he was aghast after he had received such complaints of the suspended party workers using the party for their personal aggrandizement sans any authority from the party.
