The district police have drafted traffic plan ahead of Bakrid (Eid-ul-Azha) slated on Friday. When people would offer ‘nawaz’ the movement of the vehicles would be stalled along the stretch from Clock Tower to Chakrata Road. The vehicles going towards Darshanlal Chowk to Clock Tower via Cantt and Ballupur will be diverted at Rajpur Raod and they would move along Rajpur Road via Nyu Cantt Raod to Cantt Police Station and Ballupur. The vehicles coming from Kishan Nagar Chowk towards the city would follow the route of Cantt, Kaulagarh and they will be diverted at Dilaram and Ballupur. The vehicles going towards the city will be diverted at Cantt or Balliwala Chowk.
The vehicles coming from Saharanpur/Delhi roadway will be diverted at Chandramani and will be allowed to go towards Wadia Institute. From there they would follow GMS Road and Shimla bypass towards ISBT.
The vehicles going to Delhi from ISBT will be diverted at Turner Road and it would follow Clamant Town via Subhash Nagar roads and then they would go to Saharanpur Road or Delhi Road.
