The Indane domestic cooking gas agency consumers across the Kumaon division, who have to spend a lot of time in front of the gas booking counters, may now get their cooking gas booked over phone.
The Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) that provides home delivery of the Indane domestic cooking gas is now planning to introduce the new gas booking system soon. “Keeping in view the inconveniences that the consumers have to face in getting their gas booked, we are planning to introduce the gas booking on phone system,” said Deepak Rawat, Managing Director, KMVN, while talking to The Pioneer.
With the help of this high-tech gas booking system, the consumers may get gas booked on phone easily provided their phone numbers are registered with our respective gas booking offices, Rawat informed.
Since the entire system is being done online, therefore, the software will recognise only those phone numbers which have been registered with our respective gas booking offices. So the consumers are supposed to use the same numbers to get their gas booked which they have got registered with our respective gas booking offices, added the official concerned.
“More so, the success of this new gas booking system that we are going to introduce soon, will depend on how the consumers respond to it. If the consumers opt for the new system, it will definitely go a long way in smoothening the domestic gas booking as well as delivery service of the same,” he added.
