Nainital police have drafted a sketch of the two out of four criminals on Saturday who had allegedly looted ornaments worth lakhs of rupees and cash from a house after confining its owner and other family members in a room at gun point in the broad day light on Friday.
The incident had occurred in the house of Mohan Chandra Sharma, assistant engineer of Public Works Department (PWD), located at Tulsinagar in Haldwnai. The robbers robbed the house for around one hour.
The criminals had entered the house by identifying themselves as private company representatives who had come to give them gifts. later, brandishing a gun, they had asked Mohan Chandra Sharma and his family members not to raise hue and cry.
The criminals had confined Sharma and his wife in a room. Their hands were tied with ropes. They looted cashes worth `20,000 aside from ornaments worth lakhs of rupees.
