In connection with the Ruby Choudhary case, the charge-sheet prepared by Special Investigation Team (SIT) that was formed by the state police to probe the case is yet to be submitted in the court. It had been submitted to the SSP office a few days ago. Things are hanging fire at the SSP office with the officials attached to it citing scrutiny of the report behind the delay. A police officer said that evidences collected by the SIT team members in course of investigation are being legally verified with focus on whether the report should squarely blame the administrative/ security negligence on the part of the academy officials for the incident. Sources said that two sections of IPC-380 and 411 have been added in the existing FIR lodged in the police station, Mussoorie.
Earlier, based on complaint submitted by academy security officer Satyaveer Singh, a case under Sections 420/467/468/471 of the IPC was registered against Ruby in the Mussoorie Police Station on April 2 evening. Ruby was arrested on April 3 night. Sources further said that the charge-sheet would nail Ruby in the case.
