The General Secretary of DAV PG College students union Sachin Thapliyal has started a silent protest against the college Principal Devendra Bhasin. In view of his health the student leader was admitted to the Doon hospital on Monday where he continued his agitation. Meanwhile the students again carried out a vehement protest against the college Principal when he arrived in the college in the morning. The Principal arrived amid heavy police protection but decided to leave the college after some time. The student leaders of the college are demanding resignation of the Principal as they held him responsible for irregularities in the process of admissions and other things. The charge of students is however denied by the Principal and other members of the staff.
