Even as temperatures continued to plummet in various parts of Uttarakhand, the State meteorological centre on Thursday issued a warning about the likelihood of cold wave to severe cold wave prevailing in many parts of Uttarakhand on Friday.
According to the weather forecast issued by the state meteorological centre, the state is likely to experience mainly clear to partly cloudy sky with dry weather likely to prevail on Friday. However, cold wave to severe cold wave is also likely to prevail in many parts of Uttarakhand during Friday. For Dehradun, the meteorological centre has forecast mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 18ºC and 3ºC respectively in Dehradun on Friday.
