There has been a rise in cases related to domestic violence in the State. She said that Sajha Manch had organised 16-day awareness campaign on issues pertaining to women at various places, including educational institutions, villages and other community places, across the State.

It was observed that a single window system should be opened to have the issues  redressed related to women in the State .  In each district, a Nirbhaya committee should be formed to address women’s complaints.
