Students from BPl families who are studying in 9th to 12th classes, may avail scholarship scheme of Rs100 per month. As the officials concerned of the district administration in Udham Singh Nagar have informed maximum two students from a family may apply to avail this scholarship scheme.
As the State Government has set September 30 as deadline for submission of the application forms in this regard, so all the eligible students from 9th to the 12th class have been advised to submit their application forms within the stipulated time period, added the officials concerned of the district administration, Udham Singh Nagar.
The interesting fact is that even those students who have already been availing some other scholarship schemes , may be eligible to avail the aforesaid scholarship scheme of Rs100 per month, the officials concerned of the Udham Singh Nagar district administration further said.
The eligible students may submit their application forms in this regard to their respective block’s Assistant Social Welfare Officer’s offices till September 30.
At the same time the officials concerned of the social welfare department have also urged the education department to make the students aware about this scheme so that maximum number of eligible students could be benefitted from this scholarship scheme.
The aforesaid scholarship scheme is being run by the Uttarakhand multipurpose finance and development corporation.
