The Garhwal Commissioner Subardhan said that the relief, reconstruction and rehabilitation work has been ensured on a war footing in the disaster affected areas.
A meeting will be held on July 16 to review the works done in this direction so far. The commissioner has directed all regional officers to attend the meeting without fail.
Subardhan stressed on the need for monitoring by senior officials to establish coordination in the different relief works.
He instructed all regional officers and employees to remain in the regional headquarter for 15 days without leaving the town and ordered that no regional officer will leave the station without his written permission and the subordinate will not be allowed to leave the station without the written permission of the regional officer concerned.
The Garhwal commissioner warned that strict action will be taken against those found negligent in their duty and directed the implementation of his order in the region with immediate effect.
