Rebel Champion's supporters vent anger against Karnwal

PNS

Seemingly unfazed by the State BJP leadership slapping show-cause notice on the ‘rebel’ MlA from Khanpur, Pranav Singh ‘Champion’ on disciplinary grounds, the camp loyal to the controversial lawmaker from Khanpur continued to lash out at the legislator from Jhabreda Deshraj Karnwal.  The followers of ‘Champion’, mostly Dalit community people, warned to vent their anger against Karnwal on the roads.

Addressing a Press conference at the office of the MlA ‘Champion’ on Monday,  the State president of Dalit Sena, Nar Singh said that while ‘Champion’ is a true champion of the Dalit cause Karnwal has done nothing for the community except paying lip service while invoking the name of the Dalit icon Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

“He always gives a miss to the programmes organised for the welfare of the Dalits. He cannot cite a single instance of helping any member of the community,” he added.

Apparently stung by the tirade being waged by the Champion’ loyalists, Deshraj Karnwal reiterated that there is no role of a Raja in a democratic set-up. He again invoked   Ambdekar and said that he is following the lead given by the legend. “Besides, I have been greatly shocked with the harsh statement made by ‘Champion’ against the  Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat who I hold in high esteem,”  he added.
