'Rapid escalation in piles cases in country, blame unawareness'

PNS

lack of awareness and social hesitation has ensured that the disease of piles is spreading at a rapid rate in the country, said Dr Abhishek Jain of Arihant hospital while addressing newsmen here on Tuesday. He said that many patients of this disease get mislead by quacks that offer cure from the disease but end up aggravating the problem.

Dr Jain said that the hospital has launched ‘ Pahal Swasthaya Yojna’ to provide information about piles and its treatment. He said that a health camp in the hospital would be organised from December 19 to 25 for the disease. In the camp the piles patients would be treated by use of modern stapler method. The highlight of the camp is that fifty percent of the treatment cost would be borne by Akrti Welfare society, Arna diagnostic centre and Minerva College and Covedian healthcare.
