The Rajbhara Medicare limited has accused the investigation committee members of threatening the doctors and other staff of the Raipur CHC. The Managing Director of the company Rajneesh Kashyap told The Pioneer that he had requested the investigation committee to conduct their inquiry after the Out Patient Department (OPD) hours of the hospital so that the functioning of the hospital is not hampered but his advice was ignored.
He claimed that by the threatening of the investigation committee some doctors of the hospital have resigned.The MD of Rajbhara said that on the complaint of hospital Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) the Principal Secretary Health had asked to conduct a medical audit of the hospital which the district health officials misinterpreted as inquiry.
He claimed that the department should have conducted an audit and if anything irregular is found in it then the matter could have been handed over to the investigation committee. Kashyap said that his organisation is cooperating in the investigation. He accepted that some irregularities could have occurred in functioning of the hospital which the company also found out in an internal inquiry.
