Members of Employees Union Ordinance Factory as part of their protest took out a rally and submitted a 25 point memorandum addressed to the Defence Secretary on Tuesday.
Spearheading the protest rally Anil Uniyal of All India Defence Employees Union and General Secretary of the union Ashok Sharma said that if the demands are not fulfilled they would take out a huge rally on December 12 at Delhi. Addressing the rally Ashok Kumar said that they would go on an indefinite strike from January.
Their main demands include 50 percent DA in the their salary, providing pension to the newly recruited employees as per the old pension schemes, providing CSD canteen facilities to the retired employees and other demands. Among the agitators were Ashok Sharma, Veer Singh Chauhan, Neeraj Kumar, Nandan Bisht, SV Nautiyal and others.
