After campaigning extensively for the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in Rai Bareilly parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Pritam Singh has now headed towards another high profile constituency, Bhopal. Singh left for Bhopal on Wednesday.
The constituency is hogging national limelight as senior Congress leader and former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh is locked in a tough battle against Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur of BJP. Endowed with the tag of new poster girl of Hindutwa, Sadhvi is leaving no stone unturned to paint Digvijay Singh as a person antagonistic to the majority community. Apart from PCC President, Kedarnath MLA, Manoj Rawat is already camping in Bhopal from last many days. Rawat has been appointed as the observer of the constituency by the Congress party.
