After campaigning ended at 5 pm on Saturday, the political leaders and their supporters resorted to door- to- door campaign to ensure the victory of their respective candidates. Meanwhile, the election commission has made elaborate preparation for free and fair election. A total of 175 polling stations have been set up within the constituency limit. The commission has identified 10 polling stations as vulnerable and 18 stations as critical.
Special security measures have been put into place for these stations. The polling teams for 24 polling stations located in the far- off areas left for their destination on Saturday itself.
The commission has selected the Government Inter College Kulsari as the counting centre. The counting of votes would start at 8 am on May 31 and the result is expected by afternoon on the same day.
