Additional Director General (ADG), law and Order Uttarakhand, Ashok Kumar said on Saturday that police have taken strict action against those found using pressure horns, modified silencers and stunts during the 10-day special campaign from June 25 to July 5.
He, further, said that 1726 vehicles have been booked and 70 vehicles have been seized for being fitted with modified silencers. Besides, 84 stunt bikers have been booked and 17 of such bikes have been impounded, he added. ADG said that such campaign would continue in the coming days.
