Dehradun police has drafted a traffic plan in view of New Year celebration. Some routes have been diverted and residents have been advised to follow the routes to avoid any inconvenience during the celebration.
Traffic area has been divided into eight zones, 31 sectors and 96 beats and a total of 248 police officers and police personnel have been deputed to resolve the traffic in the city, said SP Traffic DS Gunjyal. He said that Vikram and Tata Magic would be deployed at each crossing as a first responder in case of any accident.
