Former Chief Minister and Senior BJP leader Maj. Gen BC Khanduri said that the people should elect the honest representative in upcoming Panchayat and Parliament election.
Gen Khanduri stressed that he would like to contest the parliamentary election from Garhwal Constituency, if party high command gives ticket for 2014 election. The image of the Nation has deteriorated due to corruption in the international arena and BJP Prime Minister Candidate Narendra Modi can take the nation in the path of development only. He expressed these views campaigning for upcoming Shankhnath rally of Narendra Modi in Dehradun at Pauri bus station on Thursday.
Gen Khanduri alleged that the despite having the funds of disaster relief, Uttarakhand government has not disbursed compensation among the disaster victims.
