Uttarakhand Home Minister Pritam Singh and the MlA from Gangotri Bijay Pal Singh Sajwan inaugurated a new branch of Oriental Bank at Niranjan Nagar near Mahadev Bihar on Tuesday. The regional manager of the bank SK Dhal and other bank officials were present on the occasion. The branch is the 72nd one in the State. The bank’s transaction in the State is presently running into Rs5000 crores, the bank officials said. The bank is striving hard to involve as much people as possible in the realm of banking, they claimed.
