Various organisations in Dehradun protested against the Indian Government’s weak policies in dealing with the Chinese aggression in DBO Sector, ladakh and to call upon the Government to take firm steps to expel the Chinese from Indian territory.
The protest was jointly organised by Dehradun Ex-servicemen’s league, Gorkha Democratic Front, Aam Admi Party, Kaash (Dial a Tree NGO) and Hum Yuva. Dehradun Ex-servicemen league president KG Behl said that talks with China must be time bound and aimed at pushing the Chinese out. India should also get friendly nations to put pressure on the Chinese Government to withdraw and if that does not work, Army should be given a free hand to expel them, he said. GDF national working president Sanjay Mall said that it is a matter of national shame that instead of asking the Army to expel the invaders, our Government was asking the army not to block their supply lines and stay away from them. He warned that if the Chinese are not expelled within 15 days Gorkhas will lead a squad to the border to do the needful.
