An online training on legal issues in forestry and wildlife for in-service state forest service officers and senior range officers began at the
Central Academy for State Forest Service (CASFoS) here on Monday. The director of Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Bharat Jyoti inaugurated the training programme which is being attended by 112 participants from 26 States.
The training programme will have various speakers including Ministry of Tribal Affairs joint secretary R Jaya, professor Ramesh from NLSUI Bengaluru, environmental lawyer Ritwick Dutta, Supreme Court lawyer MC Mehta and MoEFCC joint secretary Suraj Kumar Bajpayee.
