The district officials have been directed to redress public concerns within a month failing which their salaries will be withheld. Dehradun district magistrate Chandresh Kumar Yadav presided over a meeting with the district officers and expressed disappointment over the slow pace of the redressal of public concerns in the district. Out of 1025 public complaints received in the Complaint Redressal Cell, established by DM on June 27, only 401 such complaints were redressed by the officers, he added.
