A case has been registered against the Nancy Convent School, Nainital, charging it with ill-treating some of the students.
According to the police, some of the students of this boarding school were allegedly taken to an undisclosed place in a school vehicle on Thursday night. However, when the students asked about the destination, the school vehicle staff failed to give a satisfactory answer. Scared, the students screamed and that drew the attention of the people. Satish Kapari, in-charge, Jyolikot police post, said that a case has been registered against the school management on the matter. Investigation is on, he said. Students — Sanni, Aaryan and Maneesh — who are reportedly from Bagpat in UP alleged that they had been locked in a room since Wednesday morning. They were not even allowed to talk to their teachers.
