The parliamentary secretary and Rajpur Road MlA Rajkumar undertook a surprise inspection of Doon hospital on Tuesday.
During the inspection he got irked by the lack of proper sanitation in the hospital and directed the Principal Medical Superintendent (PMS) Dr R S Aswal to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene in the hospital. Expressing his resentment on the delay in the construction activities in the hospital the MlA directed the hospital authorities to expedite the construction works.
Rajkumar said that due to the constant efforts of the health department the incidences of Dengue in the city are on the wane. He praised the Doon hospital administration for its efforts of controlling dengue by making additional arrangements for the patients. On the demand of hospital administration the Rajpur road MlA donated two water purifiers for the patients.
