The general body of management council of Mahadevi Kanya Pathshala (MKP) College unanimously cleared the amendments in the constitution of society proposed by the management committee in the year 2007. The Deputy registrar of Firms and societies had registered the constitution of society in the year 2008. On a complaint the deputy registrar had asked the society to get the approval of general body for making amendments in the constitution.
The general body also rejected the audit report of former auditor Ajay Khatak for the years 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 and appointed Ms Pawan Brij Gupta and company as new auditor. The decisions were taken in the annual meeting of the body which was organised in the MKP Inter college auditorium here on Sunday.
Informing about the decision the honorary secretary of the society Jitendra Singh Negi said that previous auditor Khatak prepared the audit report of the society without caring to take balance sheet from the society. He alleged that Khatak sat over the audit work for ten months and in the eleventh month submitted a wrong and negative audit report. Further the objections raised by the auditor were not brought to the notice of the members of management committee and no attempt was made to take their views. Negi said that the management committee in its meeting of January 2014 had rejected the report of Khatak.
