A minor girl was rescued from the house of a woman civil judge following order from the High Court on Monday. The police raided the house located in the Judges’ Colony in Roshanabad with the permission of the district judge.

A senior divisional civil judge allegedly harassed a 14- year- old girl from Nainital for the past four years.

SSP Krishna Kumar V K said, “We had received a letter from the High Court, stating that a 14- year- old girl who was working in the civil judge’s house was being subjected to physical and mental torture. We are now probing the matter."It is really a shameful act from a judicial officer’s side.

The emergency medical officer at the district hospital A K Singhal said that the victim had received 20 injuries, including a burn injury, on her body.
