While mystery shrouds the death of a former PRO of Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister, Harak Singh Rawat and the city police claimed that murder mystery would be cracked at earliest.
The deceased who was identified as Yudhvir Singh Rawat (42) was cremated on Saturday, and was attended by large number of his relatives and friends including HS Rawat, who failed to control his emotions and wept during the cremation. Shockingly, it was revealed in the post-mortem report that the deceased was physically assaulted before he breathed his last. The body of Rawat was found on Rajpur road on Friday. The investigating team also recovered a bank draft in the name of one medical college were found on the person of the deceased from the spot.
Sources confirmed that the police are looking into the connections of the deceased, who originally hailed from Rudraprayag. Meanwhile, the relatives of the deceased demanded CBI probe into the matter. Police sources revealed that the investigating team has collected influential clue focusing the murder mystery. Considering the importance of hi-profile murder mystery, the police officials made three investigating teams to crack the case at earliest. Interestingly, the investigating team also not ruled out the financial transactions between the deceased and suspects.
