Sharpening his attack against the Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, Congress MlA Harish Dhami, who has threatened to resign from Vidhan Sabha membership in next 10 days, has demanded that if State Chief Minister believes that his Government has

delivered, then he should call Congress legislature party (ClP) meeting in Dehradun. He claimed that he is getting support of more than a dozen Congress MlAs, but refused to reveal their names.

Talking to the media, Parliamentary Secretary and Gangolihaat MlA Narayan Ram Arya on Sunday said that no development works took place in his constituency for the last 15 months and that the CM is responsible for this stagnation. He also made it clear that he is with the agitated Congress MlAs and will not hesitate to go to any extent, including resigning from Vidhan Sabha membership.

Replying to the media query about cabinet minister Dinesh Aggrawal being assigned to interact with the agitated MlAs, Arya said that he knows one thing that State Government has failed to execute public welfare works on ground. Even CM Bahuguna is making false promises so there is an immediate need to call ClP meeting. Although he refused to make comment on how many MlAs have supported his protest, but said “everyday we are getting support of MlA and now it has crossed a dozen mark”.

Political analysts say that ClP meeting is being called to elect the leader of the house and to make strategy before the beginning of the Vidhan Sabha session by the opposition party only. By demanding ClP meeting MlAs have created furore in the political circle.

Talking to The Pioneer MlA & Parliamentary Secretary for Forest and Wildlife, Hemesh Kharkwal, who was on the way to cabinet minister Pritam Singh’s house, said that this is true that no development happened in Vijay Bahuguna led Congress regime. “There is an immediate need to review because we have to face people.”
