Winter is setting in as the temperature keeps dipping in the night and morning hours in Dehradun. Drizzle that happened in the morning on Monday helped temperatures go down by a few degrees. Dehradun received 2.8 mm rainfall. As per the Met office, no rainfall was reported in other parts of the state on Monday morning.
Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre attributed the rainfall on Monday to Western disturbances. The Met official said that the weather would be dry in Dehradun on Tuesday. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 29.2°C and 15.2°C respectively in Dehradun on Monday, Singh said. The weather forecast for Dehradun on Tuesday is clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 29°C and 14°C respectively in the city on Tuesday, he added.
