With Government of India setting deadline to complete the cable TV digitisation process in urban and rural areas by December 31, 2015 and December 31, 2016 respectively, Udham Singh Nagar district administration, has asked the cable TV operators to meet the deadline. At the same time, it has also asked the officials of district entertain tax department to have a proper coordination with the cable TV operators in the district so as to ensure that cable TV digitisation process is completed within the stipulated time. Udham Singh Nagar district administration has also emphasised on the need to make cable TV consumers aware of the ongoing digitisation process. The officials have been instructed to have things adequately publicised. It is also claimed that the process is on in the district.
