After the declaration of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) – UG courses 2017, the medical education department of the State has started the preparations for admission under the state quota for seats in the medical colleges of Uttarakhand.
The director medical education Dr Ashutosh Sayana said that the directorate of medical health, government of India is expected to provide results of the examination to the states after June 30. He said that a state level online counselling would be held for admission in all Government and private medical colleges, Dental colleges and universities. The counselling would be held for both State quota and management quota seats. Dr Sayana said that the detailed information like number of seats in different colleges, seats under state and management quota, fees description, reservation etc for online counselling would be released by the department after July 10. The director suggested that the interested eligible candidates should log on to the official website of HNB Medical education university from time to time to remain updated about the counselling.
