The name of the Sridev Suman Subharati Medical College, Dehradun also figures in the list of the medical colleges not permitted to grant admission in the MBBS course this year. The list has been released by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
The apex institute of medical education was forced to release the list after many complaints that certain unscrupulous elements are misleading the students by alluring them that they would get them admitted in the MBBS course of a medical college.
The admissions for the MBBS and BDS courses in the medical and dental colleges are at present going on the basis of NEET merit list.
