For the last several weeks, the garbage collection vehicles were not collecting the garbage regularly from several wards of Dehradun and many locals complained about it to the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD).
Taking cognisance of the complaints, the MCD issued a notice to Ramky Company that manages the work of garbage collection in 69 wards.
According to the officials, if the workers do not collect garbage daily from the houses of the locals, they start to throw it on the roads or make a pile of garbage nearby. Therefore, the corporation issued the company a notice about the same on Monday, said the officials.
