The Almora district administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry into a road accident case in which one person had died and five others were injured when a vehicle (UK-01 – TA -1434) collided with another vehicle coming from opposite direction near Bajeena on Ranikhet-Khairna Road on January 10, 2014.
There were six people travelling in this ill-fated vehicle. While one of the passengers died on the spot, five others were injured in this road mishap, said the officials concerned.
However, the district administration, Almora, has appointed SDM, Ranikhet as Investigating Officer to conduct a magisterial inquiry into this road accident case. The SDM, Ranikhet has been asked to submit report in this case in 20 days.
