Even as the Congress-led State Government was celebrating its third anniversary in the office, leader of Opposition Ajay Bhatt on Thursday charged that land mafia, liquor mafia and mining mafia were mushrooming as they were being patronised by the State Government. He also mocked that these mushrooming of mafias would be major achievements of the State Government.
For the past three years, such mafias were flourishing in the State. Wherever they were getting Government land they were doing all efforts to grab the land and mining mafias were challenging administration and police as well. With these incidents going on we could imagine who had been benefited under the Congress regime, he said.
To misguide the youth, they had raised giant hoardings of unemployment allowance as if they would give that amount to them so as to enable them to meet their basic needs. But after a few months, the unemployed youths were feeling duped and now they were running from pillar to post to have their allowance. In reality, the Government had stopped budget allocation for such allowances.
Incumbent Government is putting all-out efforts in saving their chair. In a nutshell, they are least bothered about the mass. Congress Chief Minister, Ministers and MlAs are divided into two factions- one is putting efforts to save the CM and the other trying to topple him, he added.
“If we go by facts and figure the State Government has adopted damage control exercise and awarded their MlAs Cabinet Ministers’ status so that they would be happy and will not create hurdle for it. With this state has been spending crores of rupees on their appeasement, the veteran leader said. During general election-2014, the Government had made changes in excise policy because they were bribed by the liquor mafia and even they did not bother about their protest and people as well.
To facilitate land grabbers, the state government had given 214 acre land to the Hero Motocorps @ of year 2006 in 2014. In reality, in 2006, land circle rate was Rs 1000 per square meter while in 2014 it was Rs 3800 per square meter. With this, they made dent of Rs 254 crore to the exchequer. Can we believe that such deal took place without connivance of the state governmentIJ
As far as law and order is concerned things are scary. The hapless rural people are being killed and now rape, murder and loot are on the spiral in Deobhoomi. These are the major achievements of the three- year- old Congress regime.
During the disaster, they distributed disaster relief fund among their near and dear ones. Even they did not take action against them when they were caught during investigation. On the one hand, disaster affected people are running here and there in search of bread and house the government on the other has found new ways to distribute Rs two crore to their near and dear ones through additional district magistrate. On the whole, we can say that under the Congress regime, corruption has reached its peak and now people have taken pledge to teach lesson to the Congress in upcoming Assembly election. Its result would be visible when ruling party would be defeated by the people in Bhagwanpur Assembly by-poll.
