local officials along with a visiting team from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) visited various areas of the town in pursuance of the directions of the high court for finding a solution to the parking and traffic problem in Nainital. The three-member team from IIT was also accompanied by the committee formed on the directions of the court.

Earlier on Saturday, the team had inspected various sites in the town to check the possibility of facilitating parking space at the locations. The team inspected the flats, Metropol, Sukhatal and the Khurpatal bypass parking apart from inspecting the Narayannagar locality.
