The State Meteorological Centre has forecast very light to light snowfall, rainfall and thunderstorm for some places across the State on Tuesday. Some places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts are likely to experience snow and rain on the day as per the forecast. The rest of the State would have mainly clear to partly cloudy climate and dry weather is likely to prevail.
Meanwhile, Dehradun received a good measure of hail and rain on Monday.
However, the weather is likely to clear here on Tuesday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 25 degree Celsius and 9 degree Celsius respectively.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various towns of the state on Monday were 24.2 degree Celsius and 10.4 degree Celsius in Dehradun, 25.2 degree Celsius and 9.8 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 12.8 degree Celsius and 2.8 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar and 13.5 degree Celsius and 4.6 degree Celsius in New Tehri.
