The Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rainfall at few places on Sunday. Rather heavy rainfall may occur at some places, especially in foothill districts of State on Sunday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded 31.8°C and 23.6°C, respectively on Saturday. light rainfall has been reported from various parts, especially from mountainous parts of the State. By 8.30 am on Saturday, 3.4 mm rainfall was recorded in Mukteshwar and 1.2 mm in Almora taking things of the past 24 hours.
Director of State Meteorological Centre, Anand Sharma said that cloudy sky would generally prevail on Sunday with possibility of one or two spells of light rain occurring in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively in Dehradun on Sunday.
