Building of Kendriya Vidhyalay located in IDPl Rishikesh being in dilapidated State since long, the board of the institute has appealed to DM Ravinath Raman to make a piece of land available for the same on Friday. They said that around six acre land would be needed to house a new building for the school. DM assured that the land adjacent to GGIC College would be transferred to KV.
But this would be followed after DM Rishikesh and district education officer go and inspect the land to be thus used, he said.
A proposal would be dispatched to the State Government for making the land available for the KV, he added.
