The State labour Minister and MlA from lalkuan Assembly constituency, Harish Chandra Durgapal vowed to provide quality education to the students while laying foundation stone of a school building in his constituency on Wednesday. The school building is being constructed at a cost of `1.38 crore.At the same time, he also stressed on the need to put in place the basic infrastructure in the schools. That is why our Government is pitching for opening new school buildings. Opening of this Government (girls) inter- college building in lalkuan is part of this initiative, he added.
Besides, in a bid to increase enrollment in schools, the Government has also introduced many schemes like distribution of cycles among the students, to name a few, he said.He said he was happy to met the long-pending demand of the locals for the school building in lalkuan.At the same time, he also asked the officials concerned to complete the school building at the earliest so as to enable the students to make the most of it.
