The lab technicians of the State health services have threatened to start agitation from September 18 if the State Government fails to reorganise the departmental structure.
The President of the Uttarakhand Medical lab technician association, Rakesh Rawat said that file of the departmental restructuring of technicians is pending for more than six months in the health directorate.
He said that this file should immediately be forwarded to the state government. Rawat said that the technicians of the state health services are overloaded with work in view of outburst of the diseases like dengue and viral infections but the government is not heeding to the justified demand of these workers.
