Among the thousands of devotees who reached Badrinath on the occasion of its portals reopening to the public, lok Sabha member from Garhwal, parliamentary committee on defence chairman and former Chief Minister Major General (retd) Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri also arrived in the temple township to seek Badrinath’s blessings on Wednesday. It was reported that the MP felt ill after his arrival here, which according to sources was diagnosed to be a temporary effect of high altitude related factors. Khanduri offered his obeisance to the lord before leaving in a helicopter for Dehradun airport from where he took the flight to Delhi in order to participate in the lok Sabha proceedings on Thursday.
